DESCRIPTION
The author's Song & Story Journey has been presented in church venues across Iowa since 2011. The S&S Journey depicts his journey to Jesus Christ through personal stories and is evidenced by the influence of Christ in his song writing. His stories are real, emotional, and heart felt and his songs are uplifting, inspiring and entertaining. His testimony will touch the lives of all who will listen. Pastor Carol Myers, First United Methodist Church in Iowa Falls, Iowa, had this to say about Gary's Song & Story ministry: "Gary is a very gifted musician who is called to a ministry of music. THE STORY
The Song & Story Journey website has two primary elements: The story and the music. The book portion is called "A Song and Story Journey" written by Gary Lee Ireland. The book chronicles Gary's journey to Jesus Christ through personal stories. The second part of the journey, the music, is then evidenced by the influence of Christ in Gary's song writing. The stories are real, emotional, and heart felt and the songs are uplifting, inspiring and entertaining. Lyrics to all of the songs are found in the book. The sixteen song CD is available and follows along the story line of the book.
